Getting There
PLANE - St. George Municipal Airport (SGU) is served daily by non-stop service from Salt Lake City (SLC) and Los Angeles (LAX) by regional flights of Delta and United. All of these flights are operated by St. George based Skywest Airlines.
CAR - I-15 passes directly through St. George and has four off-ramps in St. George.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION - Greyhound, 1235 S. Bluff St., 435-673-2933
Weather & Climate
Be prepared for a wide range of weather conditions. Temperatures vary with changes in elevation and seasons. Day/night temperatures may differ by over 30 degrees fahrenheit.
Spring weather is very unpredictable. Stormy, wet days are common, but warm, sunny weather may occur too.
Precipitation peaks in March and September. Spring wildflowers bloom from April through June, peaking in May.
Summer days are hot (100+ degrees F.), and overnight lows are usually quite warm and comfortable (65-70 degrees F.) Afternoon thunderstorms are common from mid-July through mid-September.
